- Harvard Doctoral Candidate, currently living in Transylvania doing fieldwork on religion and nationalism in that region. Why the title? I have often felt that my life in Transylvania, Romania, thrusts me into a position that is "at an angle," slightly off-center. Not truly disoriented, but the world comes at me "at an angle" that makes it just enough off-kilter to spur thoughts such as the ones that appear in this blog.
